New camo of the navy ground elements, like marines, prior to that they were using the current land forces camo. And for the new camo of the land forces, this has been freshly choosen over the previous crappy woodland ones they were testing for a while...

Thanks !!!

^^ I assume that incident has nothing to do with laser weapons. I honestly do not think that LSS can engage targets like male size UAVS. It's solely designed to engage mini UAVs and kamikaze drones therefore it's maximum range is limited to 500 meters. A male size UAV can easily fly above its range. And lastly I don't think our guys would donate GNA with that type of complex and experimental weapon which is still in evaluation process by our own army yet.

I checked the sources for the images and you are quite correct @DENO , the UAV was downed by AA defences near Misrata. Someone created some "fake" news and attributed it to laser weapons.

My mistake and post deleted, thanks for the correction @DENO old mate (Y)

Nice! The M-60 now has an APU!
@DENO do you know perhaps the number of M-60 tanks that have been pimped like this one? Twin M2 and APU?
İ will also ask my friend who is an Üsteğmen in Gaziantep logistic near the border but they only do repair and service

This modification have been applied on the M60A3 TTS Pattons used for point defence in the border control stations a little bit more than twho decades. For the APU it's available almost for all of the M60A3 TTS units but most of them have not mount on them since they do not need it in most of the cases but I can't say anything solid on twin M2 machine gun turret but it sould be around 100-200 units max. Here is a sharper image of the same modification from the front one for the wondering folks.

For a little bit backgorund info for the ones who do not familiar on the Turkish usage of these tanks, since from the early 2000s M60s were mostly utilized to provide accurate fire support on border control stations and counter insurgency operations. Especially the M60A3TTS model in Turkish service which is using M1 Abrams thermal optics so that makes it perfect candidate to be used on fixed defensive positiıns since it has little value against other platforms so army can sacrifice their mobility but with its thermals it still can be used for effective area control, target designation and fire support.
