TRNC Coast Guard Command

The TRNC Coast Guard Command (Turkish: KKTC Sahil Güvenlik Komutanlığı) is responsible for defending the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus against any attack from the sea. This force was established in 1976. It is affiliated with the Security Forces Command. It is an armed law enforcement agency serving in the coastal areas of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. It is the only element of the Security Forces Command at sea

Turkish Navy donated two naval vessels to Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Coast Guard. The vessels are former small landing craft of Ç-302 class. The boats are renamed as KKTCSG-301 and KKTCSG-303 and commissioned into service on 18 January 2017. Each of these boats can carry 60 tons of load or 140 troops. Their maximum speed is 10 knots.

Mobile radars are deployed at locations which are determined in the context of regional and seasonal risk analyses and used for the detection of illegal activities. The radars onboard the vehicles can monitor the contacts up to 96 nautical mile.

Hello everyone, I would like to start a photo thread on Turkish Cyprus security units. Under the knowledge of fragile international situation of the island and region I would like to ask you to keep political discussions away from this topic which is solely aiming to share visual military materials of the spesific district and nation.

Well the topic itself is political, nobody recognize this ''state'' but Turkey. It's an occupied territory of the internationally recognized state called ''Cyprus''.

Let alone the inhabitance of this part which is mainly settlers from mainland Turkey, this was/is a war crime in any international law manual, driving settlers to occupied land.

Just this comment, nothing else.

May I be so bold to ask you two gentlemen to cut the S**t? One of these days someone is going to create a topic about the Kosovo Security Force, the existence of which insults me to my very core. I have shot and been shot at by its members, who wore different uniforms then. Similarly, I have posted pictures of the Army of Republika Srpska, to which Bosniaks have a similar attitude. Are we to start a bitch fit every time we see an armed force of a country/statelet/you name it which we despise/do not recognize?

This is a forum about various Armed Forces. We are bound to see those that we do not like, to say the least. I'll do you one better. As a reservist of the SAF, I might get shot and maimed by an Albanian, a Croat, a Bosniak, a Turk, an American sometime in the future. That fight, however, is not here. So fuckin' behave, why don't you.

Yes, the Turks seem to have a strange Freudian fascination with anuses. The Poles seemed to think they have the right idea, so they impaled the rebellious Cossacks in mid-17th century. Similarities between the Radisav and the impaled Cossack scenes in "With Fire and Sword" by Sienkiewicz are hard to miss. All of which are fascinating topics worth a discussion, but they sadly have no place in a military photos and videos thread.
