We actually applied for a patent at the USPTO on the sheath, pricks actually didn't acknowledge the payment of the application. No joke. Despite showing them transfer numerous time to various staff they ignored it. Completely out there for a patent office. Having said that in general dealing with submission examiners are their own law in as far as even their prefered text.
