In some ports around the world ..Port officials have a practice of blackmailing Captains of Vessels Port officials that are meant ot check vessels before they sign them giveing them clearance for taking on cargo . they are known for asking for excessive fee's . Whereby the Captains of the vessels are told by there owners to haggle for a cheaper fee .
It was mentioned in a video the crewman said they had to pay 5,000 , I thought he was at the wind up but having asked a Shipping group page , I'ts more common .. that i even realised . And yet it's not being cracked down upon .
