The remaining fleet of older EC135/H135P2+ of the Spanish Civil Guard Air Service (13) is now undergoing a modernization process to P3 standard. At least four helicopters have already completed their upgrade.

Both helicopters, HU.30-02 (09-402) and HU.30-04 (09-404) are two of the four Dauphins transferred a few years ago by the Secretary of Fisheries. The Dauphins are mainly (but not only) in charge of supporting the tasks carried out by the Maritime Service of the Spanish Civil Guard.
