Well the title was provided by the Russian Federation website, and they call them APC's however I see your point it is more of an IFV than an APC
According usual definition, "IFV is an armoured combat vehicle which is designed and equipped primarily to transport a combat infantry squad, and which is armed with an integral or organic cannon of at least 20 millimeters calibre and sometimes an antitank missile launcher" and formally BMD is IFV. But in Russian military doctrine, airborne units should not attack well-defended infantry, so BMD is more "armored taxi" (APC), than "vechicle for direct firing support on the battlefield".

Armored units of the Western Military District were testing the tactics of supporting their own troops with indirect fire, the 125mm tank guns from reinforced positions. The experimental use of tanks in this way in Russia took place on the Pogonowo range in the Voronezh region. According to Minister of Defense of Russia, more than 200 commanders of the West Military District (WMD) assault units were gathered on the training ground to demonstrate their new tactics of artillery support with the indirect fire of 125 mm tank guns. According to Major General Timur Trubijenko - the first deputy commander of the general military WMD army - a unique method of destroying targets over a distance of 12 km was shown. A carefully selected tank company was selected for the test, most likely the T-72 B3M (currently a standard combat vehicle after modernization) or the T-90 from the battalion of the armored unit WMD. Tanks was shooting, imitating artillery fire from covered positions, using it with observers and unmanned aerial vehicles, also on the move, after leaving the covered places.
The Russians show that they drew precise conclusions from the course of combat operations in the east of Ukraine in recent years, where 85% of the decisions determining the course of each campaign were carried out using precision artillery barrel and missile, corrected by many types of flying unmanned aircraft.

The love for our homeland is burning in our hearts.
We are going to deadly battle for our beloved motherland.
Cities are now burning, all covered in smoke.
The cruel god of war is rumbling in the dark forests.
Artillerymen,Stalin gave order.
Artillerymen, the fatherland calls us.
From the thousands of batteries,
for the tears of our mothers,
for our motherland — fire! Fire!

Let you know, my dear mother, my wife (my friend),
the distant home and all my family ,
Our storm of steel is beating and burning the enemy
The freedom we will bring to our homeland .
Artillerymen,Stalin gave order.
Artillerymen, the fatherland calls us.
From the thousands of batteries,
for the tears of our mothers,
for our motherland — fire! Fire!

The day of victory, the end of the war must come.
But before we return to our beloved homes,
in honour of Leader, in honour of the people
we will salute in the hour of victory.
Artillerymen,Stalin gave order.
Artillerymen, the fatherland calls us.
From the thousands of batteries,
for the tears of our mothers,
for our motherland — fire! Fire!

Beautiful aircraft great pics thank you

The Russians have a very characteristic line of aircraft design - in my humble opinion, very elegant and refined. This aircraft has the potential (after developing final version of engines) to be a really dangerous weapon. We will see what will turn out during their use in Syria.

use in sirya it will be a huge succes , there is no AA good enough to shoot down an mig 21 so the t50 has no enemy there

It's weird, I heard that some planes fell there. ;)
No joking - it's an opportunity to test for resistance to exploitation in difficult conditions and to use real weaponry, test the possibility of detection and, above all, show strength.
The risk, however, is what the attacks with the use of home-made unmanned aerial vehicles at Hmeimim base proved.
