An Abrams MBT from the Warsaw Brigade is named Sitek-21. The soldiers from the unit wanted to pay tribute to their colleague, Sgt. Mateusz Sitek, who was brutally attacked by migrants while serving at the border and died as a result of his injuries. The inscription was unveiled by the mother of the late Mateusz, and the commander of the 1st tank battalion. July 2024
