US Army troops training in the UK. I do not know where and when the pictures were taken, but if you take into account the weapons and equipment it seems as if it was quite early in the war.

I'm seeing 1903 Springfield's and 37mm Anti-Tank guns in there - so definitely very early for the US.

The pictures were definitely taken during the early phase of the deployment to the UK. But Second echelon units, like corps or army level engineers and the 1903A3 right till the end of the war. but the 37mm AT gun is a dead sure give away.
