Didn't see a general photo thread so here goes...

That war had to be a special kind of hell.

Even in war life goes on. Woman mows her yard even if shooting could erupt at any moment.

Served in Northern Ireland in 1983 and 1992. a tragic state of affairs

Found a few more images from Northern Ireland. What most amazes me is how people move around freely even with the threat of imminent gunfire.

Even with gun control, IRA appear to have plenty of weapons.

This was captioned as a British sniper tasked with countering IRA snipers.
