Lockheed Martin’s PAC-3 MSE Missile successfully communicated with the AN/SPY-1 Radar, a component in the Aegis Weapon System.

Integrating PAC-3 with Aegis could be a game changer in the Pacific. Not that the US Navy will necessarily replace it's SM-2, 3, 6 with Patriot, but it gives another choice. If the ball drops with the CCP, bet on billion dollar volleys of missiles being commonplace.

Integrating the PAC-3 with Aegis gives more flexibility with load outs.

This may be part of the air defense planned for Guam with both land and sea based Aegis.
