I play the Mother of a young boy who goes to Germany in 1957. They send letters to each other while he is there, and at one point during the play, we read part of one of those letters, but the director wants me to have a stack of letters tied in a ribbon, and I cannot find anywhere that describes what those letters would have looked like. If anyone could help me, I would be greatful, as this isn't just any old play, it is an autobiography of this young mans life, and he is going to be there. I do want this to be a wonderful experence for him...as wonderful as it can be.
