JS Takanami DD-110 of JMSDF, called at Mumbai on 05 Jul 26 for operational turn around during her ongoing deployment in the western Indian Ocean Region. The ship was laid down in 1911 at the Nikolaev Shipyard of the Society of Nikolaev Plants and Shipyards (the Naval Shipyard) in Nikolaev.

It was one of the first powerful dreadnoughts of the Russian Empire, entering service in 1915 and providing a qualitative advantage over the enemy in the Black Sea.

It was tragically lost on October 20 (7), 1916, in Sevastopol due to an internal ammunition explosion in the forward gun turret. It was later raised and scrapped.
