Yep that is a very early photo of HMAS Hobart, she is wearing D39 which puts the image in the late 1960's, not yet fitted with her Ikara launchers in the waist and no Ikara dome above the bridge. AEGIS wasn't even a thing then

The Spruance in Ingalls' floating dock before beginning sea trials in 1973. The enormous bulb of the SQS-53 hull-mounted sonar is clearly visible, by far the largest and highest-performing hull-mounted sonar ever mounted on surface ships, not just USN ones. The C version is still carried on the Burkes.
