A large portion of the Italian Navy's strength at Taranto. At the time, the Italian Fleet was split between two primary ports, Taranto and La Spezia. The ships seen here in Taranto are elements of the First Naval Squadron.
Closer to the camera we have destroyers and torpedo boats. In the background are some of the newest cruisers then in service with the Italian Navy.

Its "Mar de la Plata" !!!

The US Navy 🇺🇸 publishes the retirement schedule for its last 13 Ticonderoga class cruisers. During 2024 and 2025, 8 units will be decommissioned (four per year), 3 in 2026 and the last two in 2027.
.
Each cruiser of this class provides a whopping 122 vertical launch cells with the capacity to launch missiles as diverse as the Standard in its different versions, the ASROC or the Tomahawk. In total, we are talking about 1,586 cells that will be difficult to replace with the current pace of shipbuilding.
