Königsberg class light cruiser Köln. 1930s
Target Ship Hessen. She was a Braunschweig class pre-dreadnought battleship completed in 1905 & took part in the Skagerrak Battle. Before WW2, she was decommissioned and converted to a target ship. She and her control ship Blitz would survive the war to be ceded to the USSR.
USN:

USS Enterprise (CVN-65). After the disaster of January 14, 1969 when a Zuni rocket on a F-4 exploded after being overheated by an aircraft start unit. The explosion set off fires and more explosions across the flight deck. 27 dead and 314 injured

USN:

HMS Monmouth (F235) Enters Portsmouth Harbour. Also known as "The Black Duke", she is the only ship in service with the Royal Navy that has its name painted in black (instead of red) and flies a plain black flag in addition to the ensign. This is due to the dissolution of the title and the blacking out of the Coat of Arms of the Duke of Monmouth in 1685 following the Monmouth Rebellion against James II of England.
