Coast Guard Cutter Douglas Munro (WHEC 724) and Coast Guard Cutter Munro (WMSL 755) patrol in the vicinity of the Hawaiian Islands alongside one another, Aug. 29, 2020. Yes mate they would still need to undergo de-gaussing but not as often as a normal steel hulled ship. Even the non-magnetic steel will build a certain magnetising effect over time
