Nice pictures! What's with those large colourful circles on the Indian birds? Are they supposed to be camouflage? They look much too random to be some sort of squadron markings…

Those are aggressor marking and used to be a normal sight in the 80s and early 90s until when the IAF decided to changed it to all grey paint aircraft.

22/03/1989 chinese send 2 x f-7m airguard and 1 x ft-7 for test in thai,and rtaf want 24 its for protect border and aggressor but bid failed beause pakistan case.pakistan sale f-7 very cheap,they use its a while,they knew old original chinese avionic and engine not good,they change new avionic and engine from western,but alls expensive than sale new western jets!so rtaf sale f-16 instead f-7!
