Kitshow Vysočina 2025 Today, May 8, 2025, another year of the already traditional model competition exhibition took place in the Czech Republic in the town of Havlíčkův Brod, in the heart of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. I don't know how many times, I first participated in 1993, so it's a truly traditional event. In the hall of the local Leisure Center, models from local and, thanks to better promotion, from overseas modelers were exhibited. The exhibits on display were of a good standard, the relatively solid participation in the children's categories inclines me to a slight optimism and the opinion that we probably won't go extinct. The tables were dominated by, among other things, a large diorama called The First Chechen War 1996. The author really played around, as evidenced by the glowing lights on the UAZ vehicle and the red led light shining in the fireplace. A cute and nice marginalia was the personal participation of Senator Jan Tecl, who decorated the winners with medals. Overall it was a nice relaxing event in the countryside. By that I mean a short driving distance. About 35 km from my home.
