All this Ahmadinejad thing could be nothing more, than a slightly more sophisticated version of the "Qaani is our guy" X trolling, to sow distrust and disarray in the IRGC ranks. Or a publicly executed retaliation over his failure to cooperate with Mossad/CIA with an implied message along the lines of "Looks what happens to people who refuse to cooperate with us"... or anything else really...

Iran launched a missile strike against a US base in Jordan and an oil facility in Bahrain. The type of missiles used by Iran has not been disclosed. Footage also shows American Patriot air defense systems in action. It is worth noting that the US is currently also striking Iranian targets.

Awww, harkening back to the good old days. I remember Iran had such a tradition during the Iraq-Iran war in the 1980s, sending human waves crashing on Iraqi trenches through uncleared minefields. They were called "Dawn" offensives. They even supplied a plastic key to hang around the volunteers' necks, promising it was the key to Allah's paradise...

What this cartoon fails to take into account, IMO, is the fact that the Strrait is closed for Iran as well, which causes a whole lot of poroblems : oil storage capacity, feeding the people, getting revenue. And IK'm not speaking of the damage wreaked by US and allies bombs on Iran's infrastructure, or the loss of credibility : Houtis & Hezzies will have alot less ressourdes to play truant in the region. On the other hand, the main problem for the US is the lmow popularity of the war, which is, however, fairly tolerabble at the moment.

Let us not forget that, based on Iran's behavior the past few weeks, they don't care about the MU (they never did and never intended to to begin with anyway) but also completely disregard the fact they do not own Strait of Hormuz in its entirety.

They share it with Oman.

And the past few weeks, all of the ships attacked by Iran were those transiting in the Omani lane because they were transiting in the Omani lane, and not the Iranian one.
