The much awaited three day ‘ARMED FORCES FESTIVAL', was inaugurated by Shri Yogi Adityanath, Honourable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, in a grand ceremony at Lucknow Cantt, today. The festival featured a magnificent display of latest military equipment showcasing technology driven Armed Forces with indigenous military equipment such as Tanks, Helicopters and Artillery Guns, etc, developed as part of Atmanirbhar Bharat. Flypast by Jaguar Fighter Aircrafts of Indian Air force, Para drop and Combat demonstrations by Special Forces, Extraction of troops by helicopters, Paramotors and many other such live displays, were key attraction of the event.

A Scout Surveillance Lab has been set up by Black Mace Brigade at Jaisalmer. Specialist Training on coordinated drone operations in deserts & reconnaissance techniques are being mastered by the desert warriors.

Indian Navy's P8I aircraft led by Capt Ajay Kanwar, Commanding Officer, INAS 316, reached Darwin, Australia 🇦🇺 to participate in the 16th edition of Ex Kakadu 2024 (07-20 Sep 24). Indian Navy will participate in the multinational exercise with over 30 nations with the theme Regional Cooperation through Trusted & Proven Partnerships.

Indian Navy's frontline frigate INS Tabar, is on a 3-day visit to Souda Bay, Greece 🇬🇷 to enhance existing bilateral engagement b/n both nations & to participate in the Maritime Partnership Exercise, scheduled on 11 Sep 24 in the Mediterranean Sea. All the three Vice Chiefs of the Indian Armed Forces took to the skies at Air Force Station Jodhpur in the indigenous Tejas fighter jets of "Flying Bullets", the Param Veer Chakra awardee Sqn, during Ex Tarang Shakti 24. The Integrated flying was led by Vice Chief of IAF, Air Marshal AP Singh, who piloted the single-seater LCA Tejas, while the ADGPI and Indian Navy Media Vice Chiefs flew in the twin-seater variant. This is a significant marker for India's self-reliant defence capabilities, and is a proud moment for Make In India.

Indian Army contingent departed for the 5th edition of the Joint Military Exercise Al Najah 2024 between India and 🇴🇲 Oman, being conducted at Rabkoot Training Area, Salalah, Oman from 13-27 September 2024. The exercise will strengthen the joint military capabilities of both nations in executing counter-terrorism operations under the UN Charter.

The 20th edition of the Bilateral Joint Military Exercise Yudh Abhyas between India & 🇺🇸 USA, commenced with the opening ceremony at Mahajan Field Firing Ranges, Rajasthan. The opening ceremony was attended by Brigadier General Thomas Burke, Deputy Commander 11 Airborne Divison US Army and Colonel Christopher Brawley, Brigade Commander 1st Brigade 11 Airborne Division.
