Other Post Help Save Our Home

**I am unashamedly spamming many of the popular threads on the site, so please bear with me***
As I am too bloody lazy to write a new script for 2026 I am tweaking last years post for donations. As always we have a shortfall between the amount we need and the money raised from donations and incomes to the site over the past year.

I hope all our members are getting through life with the decorum and suaveness that I know all you reprobates are capable of (for our non-English speakers that's a little sarcasm for the day)

That time of the year has come around again where we check our site finances and gasp as to where has all the money has gone when we find moths in the wallet

This is the point where the rubber meets the road gents. We need as many members as possible to put their hands in their pockets and donate what you can so this site can continue for the next year.

The donations and subscriptions from Patreon have helped immensely in helping @Bombardier keep the lights on and the riffraff out of our happy little home however, we do have a shortfall in funds that are required to be paid to keep us going.

Costs run at around $5,000+ USD give or take per year so we have done well to cover as much of the funding as we have.

If anyone has any spare change lurking behind the sofa, under the bed or hidden in that special "break glass in case of need" jar then please donate it so we can keep going

Little doubts we, as a community will save it and we’ll survive for the next year onwards.

Unfortunately, while I (and plenty others far more generous people) did spare a few bucks in the past, it’s going to be more difficult for me regarding financial prospects. A change in my personal situation mostly.

That said, nothing to add to what BZ remarkably stated. The determination of the community to keep the site going on for the last years (since the forums fees got from pricey to super steep) certainly won’t be forgotten.

This needs a bump

We've cracked $2000 lads, bloody good effort but we need to kick it along some more. We're 2/3 almost of the way there.

Unfortunately its the same core group that dig deep every year. It would be wonderful if more of our hundreds of members that visit the site could contribute. Even a couple of dollars will help out. It doesn't have to be big dollars and any contribution can be anonymous if you wish.

Thanks from the heart to all those that have contributed. The members of MI.net are an amazing group of people
