Intro Hello from Horncastle

I own an RAF thornycroft Mighty Antar, with a 50 ton Dyson plant transporting trailer ex airfield construction branch, and an ex RAF, then Navy AEC Matador.

I own an Eager Beaver that was in the Falklands in 1982, and I am trying to find out more about its role there.

My Wife Andi has an Austin K9 and a Scammell Explorer.

We take these, and a Civilian Douglas Transporter , ex Heathrow Airport artound what shows we can afford to get to. (Antar returns about 2.75 MPG!)

My wife K9 (well 2 1/2 K9's) are a project in the wings. I will get round to putting photo's up on the board but tonight I am getting ready for the steam rally at Belvoir Castle this week end. We will be there tommorow night if we don't repeat the tyre fire incidents we have been bugged with lately....
