We had concrete bunkers on each side of the airfield and spaced pretty evenly, each bunker on the runway side of the airfield had a 50 gallon water drum near the bunkers so the crew chiefs had source of water to wash out the floors and windshields etc. Well those barrels would go empty and not filled often so they would just be empty. The sadistic morons on guard duty would take two big rats from the traps the poppa san set each evening before he left for home, then take one and dip his tail in JP4 and light it then toss him in a barrel with the rat with nothing on him. They would stand there and cheer the poor bastard rat that had no JP4 on his tail and he would run around the sides of the barrel out running the poor lit Rat. It was like one of those old motorcycle cages where they would have two or even three motorcycles running in a very small steel cage. So this is what I think of when I read this story of this new leader, one of them has his tail on fire for sure.

I wonder why they seemingly only targeted the imported systems. Do the Israelis know that the domestic systems are actually nothing more than fancy window dressing? Were they built using components with "additional features" bought from a Romanian P.O. box company?
