The Federal Diet has lifted the immunity of leading AfD politician Maximilan Krah, member for Chemnitz, on charges of corruption. Krah's own party voted in favour of the motion. His offices and private estates in Berlin, Brussels and Chemnitz were raided immediately afterwards. Krah stands accused of colluding with the Chinese government whilst a Member of the European Parliament. A Chinese-born aide of Krah's has been unmasked as a spy on Beijing's payroll. (Source)
Krah's aide was sentenced to four years and nine months in prison for espionage today. The judge also delivered a verbal verdict against Krah, saying that "through an abyss of ignorance, Dr Krah delivered the defendant secret intelligence on a silver platter". (Source)

43 million tons of lithium beneath the Altmark in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Wonder if the politics will use this opportunity to become a bit more independent from other countries or be fearful and worried and just let it stay there...

AfD chairwoman Alice Weidel's personal security advisor has been convicted of a string of offences including criminal threats, discharging of a firearm, driving under the influence and hate speech. Philipp Roensch drove intoxicated to an asylum seekers' home, threatened two underage Syrians with a pistol and fired at least one blank at them. During a subsequent search of his premises, investigators also found internet content classified as hate speech under German law—including a "recipe" for sending people to the gas chamber. (Source)

They stood by Roensch for full three years after his initial conviction, only after tabloid 'Bild' did some digging was Roensch's contract terminated. He is still the chairman of Weidel's home chapter, Lake Constance, though.

And this "party" will rule Germany... Thank you. But no, better not...

Die Trump-Männer love it, apparently.
What's even more weird is, Polish nationalists love them as well and are part of the same group in the European Parliament.
I spoke to a Polish nationalist I happened to study with in the UK and I told him that supporting a party that does not recognise the Polish border is pretty idiotic. He said that AfD are just "patriots". This stupidly just makes me laugh. Different patriots always do something at other nations' expense and Poland would just be a meal here.
This Polish- German AfD Europarliament MP is also very popular amongst Polish nationalists:
His last name is German, but his first and middle name are Polish.
He speaks Polish and German and produces videos with Polish nationalists.
Both Polish and German nationalists have something in common: they criticise everybody apart from RuZZia.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

What frustrates me to no end is the fact that the centre leaves some reasonable ideas to these people, who are anything but reasonable.

Merz is trying, but the social democrats still haven't learnt their lesson and keep sabotaging him.

A number of Saxon AfD parliamentarians took it upon themselves to travel to Berlin and celebrate Putin's birthday with the Russian ambassador. The ambassador also handed out an award to Jürgen Elsässer, a left wing-turned-right wing extremist and editor-in-chief of 'Compact', for his "promotion of Russo-German friendship". 'Compact' has a history of whitewashing Putin's crimes. (Source)

Its time to change their passports into ruZZian passports and send them "home".

The Merz government has abolished the 'citizen's income' introduced by the previous administration, an almost unconditional social benefit that, contrary to its name, was also paid to foreigners and refugees. The new 'basic security' benefit to mitigate against unemployment or poverty comes with strict sanctions; anyone found to be ignoring instructions issued by the employment office (e.g. to attend appointments, go to job interviews or even work at all) will have their benefits cut by 100%. Chancellor Friedrich Merz gave a speech yesterday drumming up support for his anti-immigration agenda, among his arguments being that deportations were needed "to improve the image of our cities". Both the opposition and his coalition partner, the Social Democrats, now accuse him of racism, rhetorically asking how one could spot foreigners unless by looking at their colour of skin. (Source)

Oh well. How about you look at their niqabs instead, or the abundance of totally superfluous barber shops? Merz is completely right.

In other news, the UN are complaining about German police shutting down pro-Palestine rallies by force: (Source)

It always amuses me when the left and Muslim interest groups in Germany realise that hate speech laws apply to them, too.

Much to the dismay of a group of leftist mayors, the German government has struck down an initiative led by the city of Hanover to voluntarily take in Gazan children and their families as refugees. The Interior Ministry cited security concerns and an "unclear perspective" for the children in Germany. Proponents of the plan accuse the government of cruelty. (Source)

The AfD is suspected of relaying information about critical infrastructure to Russia. They suspiciously made many inquires special interest is Police and drone detection IT infrastructure. A Thuringian politician mentioned this.

"According to the minister, the areas affected are transport infrastructure, water supply, digital infrastructure, and energy supply. “The AfD is particularly interested in police IT and equipment, for example in the area of drone detection and defense,” said Maier. Equipment used in civil protection, healthcare, and Bundeswehr activities are also the subject of inquiries."

A colossally stupid incident and near-tragedy happened in Bavaria today: 3rd Military Police Regiment and Bavarian police tactical units held an exercise in the countryside, training how to search and hunt enemy special forces infiltrators. Somehow, someone forgot to tell the regional police in the jurisdiction of which the exercise happened. A concerned local called the cops on the OPFOR component of the exercise, which had taken up position in a barn. Police squad cars with anti-terror kit rushed to the scene. The OPFOR actors thought these new arrivals were part of the exercise and fired blanks at them. Fearing for their lives, the officers returned fire with their carbines and submachine guns, wounding two soldiers before the confusion could be solved. (Source)

What. The. F***.
Heads need to roll here.

I bet they are all drinking beer and laughing.

I don't think so. One soldier had to be airlifted to a hospital, having been hit in the face.
