Combined Resolve X

Alpha Company. 12th Battalion lead the way in this exercise afaik. They were on foot and expected to be overrun but instead held the line, took initiative despite many threats and also 'losses', pushed forward, turned the table and secured all objectives while the other NRF elements, that were considerably more mobile had to keep up with them. The 12th truly lives up to its reputation.

Seeing that and knowing how miserable their salery is, makes me sad ....

Georgian Army soldiers from Alpha Company, 12th Battalion, 1st Infantry Brigade discuss battle plans for the Joint Warfighting Assessment (JWA) exercise at Hohenfels, Germany, May 3, 2018. The JWA helps the Army evaluate emerging concepts, integrate new technologies, and promote interoperability within the Army and with other services, U.S. allies, and partners. The JWA is the only exercise venue assessing 27 concepts and capabilities while aligning with U.S. Army Europe Readiness and other component exercises such as Combined Resolve X and the U.S. Air Force's Blue Flag 18 to focus on a ready, interoperable joint force capable of accomplishing the mission and overmatching current and future enemies across the range of military operations.
