A group of American soldiers sit heavily armed in the rear of their truck as a convoy moves through a part of Saigon during the second Tet Offensive, May 5, 1968. After an early morning mortar barrage on the city, the Viet Cong moved in small sapper squads that attacked several installations. By nightfall the fighting had subsided somewhat.
