Admin FLYNAVY has been banned

Members are notified that long time member FLYNAVY has been permanently banned with immediate effect.

An investigation has been ongoing for months into videos posted by him of his direct involvement in conflicts in Afghanistan, Israel and Iran. It was also noted that other members have questioned FLYNAVY about his ability to operate various aircraft including F-16, F-18 Super Hornet, Rafale. His social media was checked and he claimed to also pilot C-130 and UH-60 helicopters. He defended himself by claiming that because the Danish air force was so small pilots have to be cross-trained.

That particular claim is what kick started this investigation. A check very soon found that claim to be a lie.

Until recently no concrete evidence had been uncovered in his video posts. About 2 weeks ago a video that was examined was found to have been a USAF video in the public domain. Further more aggressive searches in the videos then started to get results. Videos from the French and Italian air forces and military digital creators were discovered. Even videos of his in non military threads were found to belong to other digital creators.

Our site owner @Bombardier and our moderators have seen the evidence and it is agreed FLYNAVY will no longer infect this site with falsehoods. The nitty gritty of the investigation will not be published here.

Please be assured that banning him was not taken lightly. Every consideration was given into why his actions have been going on for so long. The simple answer is that for his own reasons he decided to become a "Walter Mitty" character. We have no way of knowing if he actually served in the Danish military or not. If he did he has himself degraded that service.

He made some vague claims that there were/is a Danish Air force contingent stationed in Israel. Shooting down drones and taking a some kinda of a part at the bunker busting raid that took care of the Iran enrichment plant. When questioned, he dodged with a religiolusly flavoured story on how the danes used to smuggle jews to Sweden during WW2.

That seemed like super weird to me, too. Especially the involvement of authorities and stuff and him talking about it like it’s nothing…as if authorities wouldn’t monitor him like 24/7…

But with all the other stories like the claimed involvement in Iran and me being a long time lurker I’d never dare to question things like that.

Just some red flags and in case anyone of you wants to Walt as a pilot, stick to one equipment. So much of flying complex aircraft revolves around "Muscle Memory" and "memory items in case of emergencies," so much so, that I've been grounded for a month just so I wont be "contaminated" when I switch to another aircraft. In the Air Force, pilots stick to being pilots and dont do ground mission, most pilots are C-section babies... they have been avoiding labor since birth.

Those are big red flags I quickly noticed. So stick to a single equipment, talk about: your third divorce and DEI hires screwing your promotion, icing on the cake is to throw in some ladyboy stories from that time you had an AOG in Bangkok to keep it interesting and you will blend right in.

FYI, in the olden days of yore there was another guy POGO, who claimed to be an F-15 pilot who got caught.... crucified I believe for claiming to be a God amongst men.

I know of a few pilots in the Dutch air force who were trained on the F-16 and later transitioned to the KDC-10 or C-130 as they got older, but never the other way around. Fighter pilots are the cream of the crop, if you don't make it through the rigorous selection to fly a fighter when you are in your physical prime you certainly aren't going to get the chance when you get older.

Same for helo's, helicopter pilots are those who didn't get picked for fighters and were offered rotary aviation instead which is considered a downgrade. I'd be surprised if 1/50 applicants wrote in their application that their actual dream is to fly anything but a fighter jet.

Even the transition to full operational status from jet to propeller takes more than a year for people with hundreds or thousands of flight hours.

To be honest, once I saw that he had "transitioned" to F-16/F-18/ Rafale, (all 3 at once) it seemed so fishy, I stopped reading his posts.

If we’re gonna lay it all out here, at some point I was sketching a bit as a hobby and he did share a fairly outstanding military related drawing, at least compared to my mediocre sketches.

Seems like we had one Superman, multitasking skilled fella right here on top of a very hot missus. Yup, some people may need the popularity online, and as indeed agreeable as he was having bullshitting us for so long could only lead to a deserved permaban.

It's demoralising, frankly. The Walter Mittys only go for glamour, never for combat service support. Mechanics, logisticians, medics, clerks need some love, too! Heck, if I were ever to impersonate a soldier, I'd claim being a military policeman. You wouldn't get questioned because no one is going to want to be around you anyway.
