Has anyone any news from across the pond ? Surely they can't mess this up or has Bernie won with a huge margin which is inconsistent with their polling ?

The average Yank does not have an understanding of how the caucus works. The reports coming in are that there was a really significant process failure, leading to general distrust of the outcome by the different candidates' organizations. Drudge Report and Breitbart both reporting thus. Checking general media sources now (mainstream press).

Ahh.. I live in IOWA. The Democrats caucus results have not been posted. Allegedly they will be posted later today. The Democrats claim that that there were inconsistencies. Most other speculation is BS. Please read;

Yea!! President trump won the Republican Iowa caucus!
 
Sometimes low tech is best. Go with paper ballots with an optical scanner. And the Iowa caucus had run it's course. Just do a primary. Having to go to someones house and wheel and deal or flip a coin is stupid...
 
Imagine paying for an app to make the voting system more modern and reliable; having said app fail; having to determine the outcome by flipping coins...

Well, at least they are not blaming it on Russia.
