WW 2 UXO keeps haunting Germany. In the shipyards of Kiel, a drop bomb was yesterday during construction works. "The excavator operator noticed the 500 kg bomb when it dropped out of his bucket." Because of this previous concussion, bomb disposal experts decided against removing the charge and blew it up on the spot. Allegedly this caused a damage to the surrounding buildings worth some two-digit million EUR.
