160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne)
The 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne), abbreviated as 160th SOAR, is a special operations unit of the United States Army that provides aviation support using helicopters. for general purpose forces and special operations forces. Their missions include attack, assault, and reconnaissance, and are typically carried out at night, at high speed, low altitude, and on short notice. The 160th SOAR is based in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and its members are also known as the Night Stalkers and their motto is Night Stalkers Don't Quit ("the night stalkers they don't give up").
