I wonder what the language of the vote will be?
Straight up independence would be my guess.

Alot of Albertans probably are opposed to being part of the US. Fair enough.
Many are also probably concerned about jumping out of one poêle à frire only to land in a deep fat fryer run by a different group of knuckleheads, further east to boot.

Yeah, even if they vote to separate, it doesn't mean they will be the 51st state. But they are looking forward to closer economic ties, without the woke, net zero, weirdos in the east impeding them.

I really don't think they should be the 51st. Probably not best for them.

We have our own "weirdos in the east".

If this does go down, hopefully trade can get fast tracked. With both the US and Canada. No need to gum up the works.

Ontario and especially Quebec would be fcked. I don't think Alberta will be sending them one Canadian pennt if the separate.

Perhaps it will put Ottawa into thinking abut what they are doing.

Quebec, I don't know what to say. What an awesome place. And a hot mess at the same time.

Running this referendum right on the heels of the Ottawa gun confiscation as well. Bet that didn't survey well in Alberta either.
