BREAKING: The British Government is currently considering new legislation to remove Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor from the Line of Succession, according to BBC News.

The last time someone was removed from the Line of Succession was the former King Edward VIII in 1936.

Abdicating the throne does remove you from the Line of Succession.

The next in line gets the throne, and so on down the line if whoever is sitting on the throne has no heir.

In the case of George V - Edward VIII - George VI - Elisabeth II; Ed' got the throne from George V, Ed' gave up the throne to marry Miss Simpson, Albert picked up and became George VI.
Had Edward changed his mind, he wouldn't have been able to get the throne back, even at the death of his brother. His brother having an heir in Elisabeth.

Um....... Seems a symbolic gesture only.... He's way down the succession line...IIRC..........

The Charge / Reason they used to arrest Andrew ..

I would use to arrest every useless inept politician who has wasted Tax payers money etc .And it wouldn't stop there ..

Lone female cop defends Christian preacher from group of angry Muslims: (Link)
This is the moment a police officer defends a Christian preacher in Whitechapel after a group told him: 'This is a Muslim area.'

The confrontation sees a female Met Police officer being surrounded by males and telling them: 'In this country, we have freedom of speech.'

She continued: 'I understand that you guys don't want to hear it, so I would just recommend that you walk away and don't listen to him.

'He's not in your home.'
Kudos to her.
