Can be both socialist and right wing. new Labour.
Voters are very daily life, easily bribed by pre-election bribes. Labour they spend all the loan money now cannot afford more pre-election bribery, so now must do unspeakable things that they would never have dreamed of ever saying.
Anyway, despite having a black hole of unimaginable dimensions, our leaders have decided to remove the benefits limit on child numbers, currently only 2 kids get paid for.
And we have decided the pension calculation ( RPI, or 2.5% if below 2.5%) is not enough, so pensioners are getting 4.8% increase, inflation is 3.6%. Kids is 3BN and pensions is 8bn.
In a world where we dont own any artillery, and very few SAM systems.....

I wasn't able to read the article because it was behind a paywall, but on what grounds can they arrest him as he wasn't even in their jurisdiction when shooting?

An IT consultant was arrested by police in Britain after he posted a picture online of himself posing with a gun in the US.

A bail document seen by The Telegraph refers to an allegation of possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and a further allegation of stalking related to a photograph of a house that appeared on his social media.
He had been due to appear at Bradford magistrates’ court on Nov 25 charged with an offence of displaying “any writing/sign/visible representation with intent to cause harassment/alarm or distress”. However, that charge was also later dropped, he said.
Basically someone saw the picture and reported it to the police.
But as for the jurisdiction issue, it does not seem to be something the British police has much concerns about.
At this point, I wouldn't put it past English police to arrest people basically at a whim, but there's something very strange about this specific incident, and I wouldn't mind reading that gentleman's original post. Why was he charged with stalking and possession of a gun? The second charge may be the result of a misunderstanding, but the first? It's so weirdly specific.

Dont know the details, but it looks like he was having an online spat with someone, and posted a picture of himself with a shotgun. The recipient took it as a threat.

Re-reading the charges, the stalking was because there was a house in the picture.
Though they didn't specify if that was in one of the pictures taken in the US with him handling a gun, or another set of unrelated pictures.
But either way, it seems the police went above and beyond to interpret the complaint in a very broad manner. And perhaps the plaintiff went, also, a bit above and beyond to make it look worse than it was.
