biggest problem with ARVN is that they fighting American way while they are not American , that why there are a lot of complain about lack of ammunition by the ARVN who flee to the American after the war , blaming the reason they lost are because American betray them and cut off weapon supply , while infact there are quite a lot of ammunition left in they warehouse , the problem are they logistic is not on par with America , while American troop where still in south Vietnam it not a problem cause if they need ammunition the American logistic system can supply them , once the America are withdrew the logistic system go with them and the south Vietnam logistic cant supply the south Vietnam troop the way they fight ( if you seen American soldier fight in Vietnam that pretty much how the south fight , hear a gun sound = dump entire mag , that the way how newbie in nva and later vpa soldier do in Vietnam war and Cambodia , a vet will shot a short burst and rarely used up they issue 120 round in a contact , while a newbie will empty they mag in full auto or long burst and used up they 120 round issue ammunition in a contact , I think the afghan also have same issue , they fight like American who have logistic system to support = they can fight rich way man , once those American troop are withdrew , afghan army will have a hard time with logistic if they don't change the way they fight
That white mansion with the blue shutters looks suspiciously familiar.......the John Wayne movie : The Green Berets, the mansion they raided to kidnap the NVA General and wisk him off with the Fulton Recovery System, the mansion looked almost exactly like that......weird o_O
the picture caption say , the building was head of quang tri provincial chief building ( btw I love how they used tinh truong , provincial chief sound like how kmt call they provincial chief during those time too , a lot of arvn in America complain that modern Vietnam used way too much han-viet word ( sino-viet) while they also used a lot of han-viet word them self :) kinda dumb to used word at politic attack ( btw interest fact korea-japan-Vietnam have around 60% of Chinese loan word in our language ,back in the day the Chinese was like rome in far east )
