Space Artemis II

If criticism has to be made: SpaceX has a better quality feed of its launches. :D

Glad everything went fine and hopefully this is the start of a promising and successful new chapter in Human Exploration.
I said the exact same thing to my wife while we were watching it live last night.

Not as cool as the Korolev Cross, but it is pretty high up there.

Went and saw this from a pretty far distance. As close as I am able to practically get at the moment.

I did not think it would be as visible as it was. The rocket smoke trail was huge.

I have seen multiple Shuttle, Dragon, Delta, yaddayaddayadda launches from this distance.

Different level. When it broke the horizon I couldn't believe how big it was.

If they ever do a night launch, or hit the space jellyfish window, it will be amazing.

Soviet turtoises were the first to orbit the Moon. Earth shall never forget their bravery.

That has got to be quite the emotional punch.

Still on the light aspect of things:

I missed it when it happened, I was wondering when I heard about stowing the missing snack what that was about. LOL

Splashdown is targeted for 8:07 p.m. EDT (5:07 p.m. PDT) off the coast of San Diego, where NASA’s recovery team will be standing by to welcome the Artemis II crew home.
