A grenade attack, injured soldiers with open fractures and burns, the medics' fight against the enemy and the time to provide advanced medical care in the field.
This is the final exercise of the Advanced Paramedic training, which is given at the Medical School in Karlsborg as the only place in the Armed Forces.
When the final exercise enters its final phase, the medics have cared for their patients for 60 hours and been put to the test.
Instructors and exercise management have followed them closely at every stage and every moment.
At the edge of an airfield, medics and patients are waiting for transport by TP 84 Hercules to the medical center for further transport to a field hospital.
Once there, the medics report on the patients' condition. Doctors and nurses then take over responsibility for the patients, make further assessments and provide the necessary care.
