1983 HMS STARLING. Starling was the last of five large patrol craft built for the Royal Navy in the 1980s. They were procured specifically for patrol duties in the Hong Kong area. Starling was built by Hall Russell in Aberdeen, launched on 11 September 1983 and commissioned on 10 August 1984.
