hms jason

HMS Jason (J99)

HMS Jason was a Halcyon class minesweeper built by Ailsa ship building company in 1938. The Halcyon class were fitted with ASDIC for anti submarine patrols. In 1946 Jason was sold for conversion to a Merchant cargo vessel, renamed 'Jaslock' and broken up in 1950 at Grays.
