MATTHEWS, Charles Hadland, Sergeant, Wireless Operator, Air Gunner 1035560, 102, Squadron, Royal Air Force, V.R., died 30th July 1944. He was the son of John Cecil and Lily Rose of Mold and brother of John Leonard who also fell. Charles is at rest in Mold Cemetery, Denbighshire.
