Yes nowadays the M48's are fire support tool, kind of light tank , and with modern ammunition he can play tank destroyer missions. Even with years, it is still a beast, all the family M48-M60 very solid tanks still in service in second or third lines, in support of more heavy tanks Leopard/Abrams.

Within the scope of the measures taken by Bursa Provincial Gendarmerie Command in Uludağ Tourism Region. A total of 6,419 personnel have been employed and reports, complaints have been processed. Public order and search and rescue events were intervened.

As a result of the simultaneous and three-stage implementation in Turkey; 672 wanted persons apprehended. Kind of guns and different sexes and quantities of drugs were seized. And a total of 8 missing persons, 2 of them children, were found by Provincial Gendarmerie Command units.

Mil-Mi-17s of the Gendarmeire Aviation are received in return of Russian foreing trade debts to us alongside with the MZKT Volat carriers and BTR-80s in mid 1990s and has nothing to do with PLA which originally stands for People Liberation Army.....

According to the news Turkish land Forces decided to update it's MKE T-155 Panter 155mm 52 cal packed howitzers by placing them on 8x8 military carrier with ballistic radar, digital communications and data transfer interface and aselsan ADOP-2000 EO fire control system.

Here are the systems designed over the same idea, aselsan Asya and MKE Yavuz, using the same 155mm Panter gun and digital components which is gonna implement on Turkish Army issue Panters. So we could expect to see something similar with these but on 8x8 carrier.

On the 105th anniversary of the Gallipoli victory, the ceremony was held in the Çanakkale Martyrs Memorial on the Gallipoli peninsula with Provincial Gendarmerie Command personnel and Equestrian Gendarmerie teams.

According to the news the first 6 units of the FNSS Kaplan STA which was developed as a part of Turkish Army's new generation anti-tank carrier vehicle project has been delivered. T70 TGMHP is preparing for its first flight!

(Within the scope of the Turkish General Purpose Helicopter Program (TGMHP), 109 T70 general purpose helicopters, which will be developed from Sikorsky Aircraft's S70i helicopter under the main contract of TUSAŞ and under the sub-contract of Sikorsky, ASELSAN, TEI (Tusas Engine Industries) and Alp Aviation companies. Also, TEI will produce a total of 248 T700-TEI-701D turbocharged engines, including 218 T70 platform tops and 30 spare ones for under the programme. T-70 will be delivered to 6 different users with production model under license in Turkey for the next 10 years. (22 for Land Forces, 6 for Air Force, 11 for Special Forces Command, 30 for Gendarmerie General Command, 20 for General Directorate of Security (Police) and 20 for General Directorate of Forestry)

Final design of the Turkish Navy Barbaros Class Frigate (MEKO-200 TNIIA/B). Mid-Life Update programme shared by the Turkish Presidency of Defence Industry. Commemorative post of the Turkish Navy Dumlupınar submarine which colluded with a Swedish cargo ship passing the Dardanelles and sunk with the 81 sailor in her on this day in 1948. Local fishermen found her rescue buoy and got contacted with the survived crew with the telephone on it and noticed the officials however all of the efforts due to the strong undercurrents and the dept she was settled rescue teams can not connect with the submarine.
