Action between U.S. Frigate Constitution and HMS Java, 29 December 1812. Painting in oils by Charles Robert Patterson

Depicts Constitution (at left), commanded by Captain William Bainbridge, exchanging broadsides with the British Frigate Java off Brazil early in the action. During nearly two hours of battle, Java was dismasted and had to surrender. Her damage was so severe that she had to be burned. Photographed in 1948, when the original painting was hanging on board the Presidential Yacht Williamsburg (AGC-369). Official U.S. Navy Photograph, now in the collections of the National Archives.

Type 54A Jiangkai II class guided-missile frigate Xuzhou (FFG 530) steams past the forward-deployed Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Stethem (DDG 63) after participating in a Code for Unplanned Encounters at Sea (CUES) and a search-and-rescue (SAR) exercise. Spain:
August 1989. Aircraft carrier Dédalo (former USS Cabot (CVL-28)) arrives at New Orleans to be converted into a museum ship in by recently established Cabot-Dedalo Museum Foundation.

The Museum Foundation ultimately failed to secure the sufficient funds, the ship was arrested and scrapped in early 2000s.

PLA(N):
Former IJN ocean escort in service as the PLA(N) frigate Nanning

English wiki (and other English sources) say she was the Type C escort CD-7. Chinese and Japanese wiki however say she was the Etorofu-class escort Manju.

She served as the flagship of the PLAN's South Sea Fleet, and was eventually decommissioned in 1979. Surprisingly, not even the last ex-IJN vessel to be decommissioned by the PLAN.
