During their deployment in Malbork Poland, the Türk Hava Kuvvetleri F-16 and Polish Air Force MIG-29 are flying together to hone their flying skills, cooperation and interoperability. This is the first time Turkey deploys their fighter jets to NATO enhanced Air Policing mission, after leading the NATO Baltic Air Policing in 2006.
Their exercise is an important part in NATO’s Air Policing mission to ensure the Alliance airspace security and safety. Combined exercises like this are the key enabler to building nations’ trust, understanding, solidarity and technical interoperability.
