Conducted via section level training, our troops have been working on a number of skills which work to keep up the deployability of each individual soldier.
 
1st Battalion, Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment Fire Support Group (FSG) have been out in the tussock sharpening their skills in Waiouru.
FSG trained with multiple weapons, including:

HK 40mm Grenade Machine Gun
FGM-148 Javelin Anti-Tank Missile
MAG-58 Sustained Fire Machine Gun

These recruits now have their graduation parade within their sights, having entered their final month of training.
Recruit training is an intense 16 weeks, full of physically and mentally demanding challenges. After graduating, each soldier will be posted to their units to begin corps training, specific to their chosen trade.
 
Combat Engineers were put to the test on Explosive Method of Entry tactics, processes and procedures used for urban clearance operations.
