It seems that the Indonesian authorities have confirmed the sinking of the submarine. Nanggala appears to be lying imploded on the seabed, about eight hundred meters deep ( 2600 feet ).

06 January 1945, 5:29 pm. Lingayen Gulf, Philippines. While providing cover for US Marines landings, light cruiser USS Columbia (CL-56) is about to be hit by the kamikaze Mitsubishi A6M5 in a moment. Seen from the battleship USS California
nv9edo860lu61.jpg

The plane and its bomb penetrated two decks before exploding, killing 13 and wounding 44 men, putting her aft turrets out of action, and setting the ship afire. Prompt flooding of two magazines prevented further explosions, and impressive damage control measures enabled Columbia to complete her bombardment with her two operative forward turrets, and remain in action to give close support to underwater demolition teams. Ammunition was removed from the after magazines to refill the forward magazines; much of this was done by hand.

HMAS Sirius has completed one of its biggest ever Replenishment at Sea (RAS) with the 100,000-ton Nimitz-class aircraft carrier, USS Theodore Roosevelt and two other ships in a Carrier Strike Group on March 31.
To add to the accomplishment, Sirius simultaneously replenished the USS Bunker Hill, using its port and starboard refuelling rigs to support the dual-RAS operations.

UNPAV Tullio Tedeschi

The Tullio Tedeschi is the second of the two UNPAVs commissioned by the Italian Navy from Intermarine in 2016.
Versatility is one of the distinguishing characteristics of UNPAV vessels, which are designed to meet a wide range of needs, thanks to a platform providing for the transportation of special teams from Italy's elite naval commando force, COMSUBIN-GOI. The boats can travel at high speeds and are built with materials offering ballistic protection, heat resistance, shielding against electromagnetic interference, reduced weight and high structural strength.
The boats can accommodate a permanent crew and special forces teams, for a total of 27 people. They are built in composite material, have a length of 44.16 m LOA, a beam of 8.4 m for 1.5 m immersion, and a displacement of 190 t. They feature a stern ramp to embark a Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat Zodiac Hurricane 733 for COMSUBIN-GOI operational units, and an integrated launch and recovery system.
