An amazing work of art. The project was originated and completed by retired servicemen and not by professional artists. Also, the statute was installed in a provincial city of Pavlograd, Dnipro region. The sculpture primarily consists of thousands of pieces of shrapnel and shell splinters welded together. As the inscription says the monument is dedicated to the fallen Ukrainian warriors in the Russian-Ukrainian War.

Schools opened in Ukraine on September 1st. Ukrainian Marines provided financial assistance (juts let this sink in for a minute) to the family of the fallen hero of one of their own and gave highest honor to Danilo Zagrebelniy. His father, Colonel Yuriy Zagrebelnyi was killed in action on October 26th, 2014.
