BTR-82AT with a new missile and cannon module was shown at "Army-2020"

An upgraded version of the BTR-82AT was presented at the Army-2020 International Military-Technical Forum. The armored vehicle can be seen in the exposition of the Military Industrial Company LLC.

The main difference from earlier versions is the presence of a new uninhabited combat module BTR-BM. It used a 30-mm automatic stabilized in two planes 2A42 cannon with 300 rounds of ammunition and a coaxial 7.62-mm PKTM machine gun with 2,000 rounds of ammunition.

The missile armament is represented by the Konkurs-M anti-tank complex, the protected launchers of which are mounted on both sides of the module. There is also a system for the delivery of aerosol curtains.

At the disposal of the gunner-operator is a perfect fire control system, with a multi-channel sight, allowing to detect the enemy at night at a distance of up to three kilometers.

The accuracy of firing is provided by a laser rangefinder, ballistic computer and automatic target tracking.

As told in the "VPK" LLC, BTR-BM can be installed on other equipment, including naval. The module is also capable of destroying air targets.

The armored personnel carrier is equipped with anti-cumulative and bullet-proof lattice screens. Engine power - 300 HP The maximum speed on the highway is 80 km / h. Combat crew -10 military personnel.

Rostec presented the Rat complex for countering drones.

The Ruselectronics holding of the Rostec State Corporation presented at the Army-2020 forum a Russian multifunctional mobile complex for combating Rat drones with a targeted laser destruction system. The complex was created on the basis of a special armored vehicle and is equipped with a full range of drone detection and suppression equipment to protect critical objects from unauthorized UAV intrusion.

The novelty includes a radar station, a complex for automatic recognition and suppression of telecommunication channels, a system of directed ultrahigh-frequency (microwave) suppression and a system of directed laser destruction. All equipment is integrated into a single intelligent system for collecting, processing and displaying information. The data from the detection and surveillance devices are sent to the central control panel. The system processes the target parameters and offers the operator several options for further actions.

“At Army, we are demonstrating a series of countermeasures against drones. In the new complex "Rat" we have combined several developments of our enterprises at once. The result is an unparalleled solution that guarantees maximum protection from drones. The complex can be used to protect both stationary and mobile objects. Its potential consumers are the Armed Forces, Rosgvardia, the police, and other power structures, ”said Sergei Sakhnenko, industrial director of the radio-electronic complex of Rostec State Corporation.

The complex detects drones at a distance of up to 3.5 km, carries out directional suppression of UAV control channels within a radius of up to 2.5 km. In the event of an unauthorized intrusion of several objects, "Rat" blocks their communication and satellite navigation channels. The operator of the complex can also physically destroy the drone using a targeted laser destruction system.
