Extended Description: CHARTERIS The Hon Elcho Yvo Alan. Second Lieutenant 1 Grenadier Guards (Special Reserve) died 17 October 1915 aged 19. Son of 11th Earl of Wemyss and Countess of Wemyss, of 62, Cadogan Square, London.

At rest in Sally-Labourse Communal Cemetery, France.

His brother, Lord Hugo Francis also fell.

Commemorated on Stanway War Memorial, Gloucestershire.
