Produced by Convair, this unusual plane was powered by One Allison YT40-A-6 turboprop of 5,850 ehp (4362 kW) driving a twin-rotor contra-rotating propellor. It had a top speed of 610 mph at 15000 feet and was a tricky beast to land as there was no speed brake.
