Private 1385, 11th Royal Fusiliers, City of London Regiment, died of wounds on the Somme 29th September 1916 aged 22. Only son of Joseph and Ann of 127, St George's Avenue, Wolstanton, Stoke on Trent formerly of 41, High Street, Wolstanton. Buried in Neufchatel Cemetery, Neufchatel-Hardelot, France
