WOOD Gilbert Henry

WOOD Gilbert Henry, Private 29804, 7th Bedfordshire Regiment fell in action 15th March 1917 aged 33. He was the son of John and Priscilla of the Moon and Stars Inn, Eastwood. In 1911 he was living with his wife, Adelaide Bertha, nee Bothamley at Roxton, Bedfordshire and was employed as a school teacher. He is commemorated on a family memorial in Eastwood Cemetery, Nottinghamshire and also on the Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France.
